How to Help the Chapter
The Nashville chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State is always looking for people interested in doing things from home or elsewhere. Although not essential, it would be helpful to attend some of the six business meetings per year. Candidates must have an interest in the issue of church-state separation and a willingness to progressively learn more about the topic.
One way you can be of help is to volunteer to spend some time at our literature table at some events. If you wish to work on a specific topic, we have committee chairs who could possibly use assistance in the fields of publicity, legislation, clergy & religious outreach, youth & college outreach, speakers' bureau, events, membership, phone contacts, etc.
You can apply for any position or address any questions by e-mail at President at Nashville-AU.org or by calling Charles Sumner at (615) 646-9946.
